Anyone can make a rookie mistake when they’re hungry. Even the person in charge of booking Snickers’ Super Bowl commercial.



Superbowl Rookie Mistake

We tell the story of the Snickers Super Bowl media buyer who made a “Rookie Mistake” and forgot to book the 2022 Superbowl spot. Now she has to make up the missed 100 Million views on the very platform that distracted her in the first place, TikTok.

Bea Phleghar goes on a mission to get on as many “sides of TikTok” as possible by combining multiple acitivites into each chaotic video. With subtle homages to Snickers in each video, Bea wins her viewers with her can-do attitude, silliness and desperation. 

Examples:

  • Bea is getting a tattoo and learning about Vermont History while simultaneously fencing an opponent in a duel. We see the final jab is through a Snickers bar the opponent just opened.

  • Bea is getting her tarot cards read while making Emily Mariko’s famous salmon rice and reading an eye exam chart. Once she can no longer identify the tiniest letters, her lense is swapped to a higher power, revealing they were little microscopic snickers all along.

  • Bea is fly fishing while braiding her hair and trying to photograph a stop-motion claymation film. The claymation is a football player biting into a Snickers.
